About
Lindsay
I came to my career in psychotherapy after over a decade working in nonprofits. While I enjoyed my work, I knew I wanted to work more closely with the people I was helping. In 2019, I decided to return to school to become a therapist. Today I love using what I learned in graduate school and other therapy trainings, as well as my own life experience, to help my clients.
I specialize in ethical nonmonogamy and polyamorous relationships. Whether you are curious about opening your relationship, have already opened your relationship, or are happily committed to monogamy, I can help you gain insight into what you want and how to get there.

Experience & Education
I've always loved the study of human relationships, so I earned a master's degree in communication. Realizing I wanted to work exclusively with people on improving their relationships, I returned to school in 2020 to earn my master's in Couple and Family Therapy at the University of Colorado, Denver.

I also love research. I completed an optional thesis at UC Denver and decided to turn it into a longitudinal study and work on my PhD. So, I'm a part-time therapist and full time graduate student.

I specialize in nonmonogamy and polyamory because I've experienced the struggle to move from monogamy to polyamory. It was TOUGH. And, it's not for everyone. Mono is cool. Poly is cool. But what's coolest of all is that we get to choose the life and relationship style that works for us!

I have also completed trainings in Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples, Narrative Therapy, and Sex Therapy.
